Day 4: First true work from home day for both of us… with the kids.

Thank God it’s Friday!Balancing Zoom meetings with students, teachers, heads of school, zoom cello lesson (oops missed that one)… Setting work for my children, checking work for my students, making a short film to say “have a restful Easter Break”, laughter, anger, tears… sounding familiar to other parents out there?

Build a wall of jenga blocks and see if the cat can knock it over.
3pm… school’s out for Easter! Wind a bit chilli… but some much needed outside time.

Doing the ‘once a day’ outside, avoiding any travel when possible – so riding our bikes, to out beach with an inflatable lilo and a boogie board. Big surf… so had to keep a keen eye on the kids and be ‘resuce ready’.

Thinking of all the wonderful people we met in Euope last year… and how difficult things are for them right now. We call this our “ode to Italy” chin chin
