Feeling lucky, again for where we live. Rode our bikes to the bay beach, shovels in hand… to dig holes! Alex and I walked down to the cape and left two boys and two shovels. Braved the wind and a few showers. Returned to some big “cave” holes. Simple pleasures…

Day 10: School work for the kids? But Mum… it’s school holidays!
Last week of school term was crazy… trying to juggle working from home and online learning so it is only natural that I not worry about my own children’s school work, right? Must be school holidays… puzzel time!!! Teaching a bit of world geography at the same time. Zoom chat meeting for Heath, great for him to “see” his friends. Setup a LEGO challenge. Create a family… So… I have decided to try and phone a person a day. Just to say Hi and keep in touch.
Day 7: Week 1 – School Holidays… but it’s just a little bit weird.
Highlight today: marking Science tests! Ughh Still have to get that stuff done! Was a bit strange to see the “beach closed” sign. Still allowed to walk, swim and surf. Very greatful to live here.

Today was one of those ‘out of the box’ days where we could almost forget the troubles if the world. Feeling very strongly about our community andContinue reading “Day 5: 1.5 meter rule”
