Started at 6:30 am, finished at 6:30pm. Not complaining coz I have a job – but tired… one day till the weekend. I can do this!
Day 23: working… school… ahhhh
Okay…. posts gonna be short!
Work, school, my students, my kids, my workmates, my job, my husband….
It will look so much better when we put it together
Day 22: Wednesday.
Yup. Working
Day 21: Back to work… with no students?!?
Crazy tired, was my “day off” today – not sure how that will work with this new World Order… but was strange to see so many other adults (all very socially distanced of course). My hours/days of work over the break were very worth it. It’s gonna be a crazy roller coaster….
When I finally finished my meetings… and got home (2pm) the boys were “ready” (NOT) for a maths lesson… oh brother. I am a teacher, yet my own kids need so much one on one work! Trying the conjour up ideas/motivation to help them get back into school work. Uugghhh
Oh… posts won’t be so exciting now! Sorry
Day 20: Easter Monday… last day of school holidays
Last day of holidays, what strange ones they have been. I asked Finn, when/if we can travel again would he like to swim with Minkie Whales in QLD or hike in central Australia… his response? Actually mum, can we just always have our holiday here? We live in the best place in the world. Why would we leave.
On our “excercise” walk at our beach it was super low tide and we saw an Octopus!

Was hard to capture… we were captivated for a long time, watching it change colour and shape in a long, narrow, shallow rockpool. One of my best encounters ever… and a first for the boys. Heath said, Octopus are definatly my favorite sea creature ever. Finn said, I think it might just be my favorite animal. A very special family moment and a highlight of our recent time.
Day 19: Easter Sunday… Mmmmmm chocolate!
I did some great planning for school next week…. hope I don’t burn out too fast. It’s gonna be a looooong term.
Alex did some crazy 4 way chats on WhatsApp. Was like the Brady Bunch.
Our Family sent silly messages to friends all over the world. Should make them giggle.
Day 17: Good Friday
Garden day today… cleaned out the Lemon Tree Patch of grass and planted beetroot and carrots.

Day 18: Saturday… it rained… and rained… and rained!
I got lots of great school work done today.
It is refreshing to hear others planning and thinking about future possibilities. If we look forward with flexibility, perhaps we will be ready for what is to come.
Day 16: Thursday… Yay, the sun is out again!
Again… with the food!

Today feels like Saturday. The sun is shining, the coffee is great. Feeling loved.

Just heard that ALL beaches completely closed all of Easter. 😦
Was nice whilst it lasted…
Day 15: The importance of our Elders
Pondering the those we love…
Beautiful pink, super, full moon rising. No photos.. but embedded in my memory.
